September Lunar Eclipse in Pisces

There’s always something kind of special about a full moon this time of year. Here in the northern hemisphere fall is coming and it’s a magical time of year. This month on September 7-8, it’s not only a full moon but also a lunar eclipse; we will have a Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Pisces. During an eclipse, the moon falls into the earth’s shadow for a time, causing it to appear rusty red in the sky, which is also known as a Blood Moon. Most of us here in North America won’t be able to witness this particular eclipse, but we will still feel its energy.

A full moon eclipse in Pisces signifies the potential for a deeply emotional, intuitive, and karmic turning point, often bringing closure, revelations, or spiritual breakthroughs. It’s time to make choices that align with what is truly in your heart. It heightens our sensitivity, dissolves illusions, and urges release of what no longer serves the soul’s growth. There can often be a somewhat mystical or otherworldly feeling to this transit. Here’s the impact for each sign of the zodiac:

Aries – For our on-the-go fiery Aries friends, this eclipse brings a need to take the time to pause and heal hidden wounds which may in turn uncover subconscious patterns that are ready to be released.

Sagittarius – For Sagittarius, the light of the eclipse will illuminate family dynamics, home life, or living situations prompting healing or even inspiring relocation by bringing hidden emotional needs and family issues to the surface.

Capricorn – This lunation brings important messages, contracts, or decisions to Capricorn’s attention, possibly reshaping communication or close relationships. This can lead to a period of mental expansion but practical Caps must also beware of the potential for confusion due to Pisces' lack of clarity.
